These reflections are written by Knights and Ladies of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre to increase awareness of the plight of the Christians in the Holy Land and to promote the Good Friday Collection for the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land. We are offering them for publication in diocesan and archdiocesan newspapers and magazines and parish bulletins in our Lieutenancy to increase our fellow Catholics' knowledge of the Holy Land and to encourage their support for the Holy Sites and the “Living Stones” of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
Each dated section below contains material for one of the Sundays of Lent, leading up to Easter Sunday. The PDF version of each reflection is a one-sided 8.5" X 11" poster, which can be viewed here, or downloaded and included in a parish newsletter, or downloaded, printed out, and used as a flyer as it stands. We are also supplying the text (as a Word document) and a higher resolution version of the image from each reflection for publication in a form where the publisher needs more control over formatting than is possible with the PDF version. This will typically be the case for newsletters, newspapers, or magazines serving a wider population that the members of a single parish.
