Welcome to the website of the North Central Lieutenancy!
Welcome to the website of the North Central USA Lieutenancy of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. The geographical area covered by the North Central Lieutenancy is shown in the image to the right — it includes the States of Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. If you are looking for information about the Order's activities elsewhere in the United States, links to a map showing the territories covered by and the websites of other US Lieutenancies can be found on the dropdown 'Contacts & Links' menu above and general information about the Order can be found on www.holysepulchre.net, a site that we also manage.
Next Pilgrimage
The next North Central Lieutenancy Pilgrimage will take place from June 4-14, 2012, and will include visits to many of the Holy Places. More information and a booking form can be downloaded from here. There are still a few spaces available.
New Grand Master Appointed
We welcome the Order's new Grand Master, Archbishop Edwin O'Brien, previously Archbishop of Baltimore. As is usual for the Order's Grand Master, he was recently elevated to the College of Cardinals. A special edition of the Order's Newsletter, which was published earlier this year, contains more information about him.
Jerusalem Newsletter
In 2011, the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem started publishing a monthly newsletter, copies of which will be made available from our News Page. The English version of the latest (March) edition of this newsletter has recently been issued.
Members' Area Open
The Members' Area is available for Registration and browsing. You will normally need to be a Member of the North Central Lieutenancy to access this area.
