     Cincinnati-Covington 2020 Investiture

     The 2020 Investiture will be jointly held in Cincinnati, Ohio and Covington, Kentucky. The local host team, led by Sir Gerald Zobrist and Dame Dee Zobrist, has planned a wonderful weekend featuring wonderful venues and three inspiring speakers 

     SPEAKERSJoan Lewis is a leading journalist covering the Vatican.  John Schlageter, the Executive Director of Bethlehem University,  will provide an update on the current situation in the Holy Land.  Fr. Wade Menezes is a nationally recognized speaker and retreat leader.

     CHURCH VENUES:  On Saturday we cross the Ohio River to Covington, Kentucky to celebrate the promotion ceremony and memorial Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption.  On Sunday the investiture ceremony and Mass will be held at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral in downtown Cincinnati. 

     WELCOME RECEPTION ON FRIDAY NIGHT:  The weekend will begin with a reception on Friday night at the renowned Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal.  The evening will include a tour of the unique Nancy and David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center. 

    GREAT METRO AREA:  Our meeting hotel is on Foundation Square, the heart of downtown Cincinnati and steps away from restaurants, shops and museums. On the Cincinnati riverfront you will find a network of riverfront parks, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center Museum, the Great American Ball Park (home of the Reds) and the Paul Brown Stadium (home of the Bengals).  Across the river in Kentucky you can shop and dine at Covington's MainStrasse Village neighborhood which commemorates the German Catholic heritage of the area.  In neighboring Newport, Kentucky you might want to visit the Newport Aquarium, take a riverfront cruise or visit a local distillery.
