Pilgrimage to the land of Christ's birth, life, death and resurrection is the pinnacle experience of being a Knight or a Dame in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. From the earliest days of its founding, it was a Knight's duty and an intimate, integral part of his spirituality as a Christian to make the journey to Holy Land to pray at the very sites where Our Lord walked, lived his life and preached the message of salvation. The highlight of any pilgrimage comes at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is built over the very sites of the crucifixion and the resurrection. Here, Knights and Dames pray at Golgotha - the rock where the Lord was crucified and died - and inside the tomb, where the Lord rose for the dead.

Below is a selection of pilgrimage photos to the land of Christ made by the Knights and Dames of the North Central Lieutenancy. Due to the pandemic, there were no 2021 or 2022 Pilgrimages. The last pilgrimage was in 2020 and is featured below.Simply click on the link to view photos.
